My selfie contains layered images that all represent an aspect of my life. The blue across my face is from a stained glass window in my temple. Through my temple, I have met so many different people and learned a lot about who I want to be when I grow up. My dog has been with me since I was a baby and I can't imagine my life without her. She can always bring a smile to my face. The third image is a tennis ball. Tennis is my true passion. It's my escape from the demands of reality and the stress of school. When I am on the court, I feel empowered. I think that having a sport and being a part of a team can help you grow as a person and also provides a sense of self confidence that you can't get anywhere else. I believe that you can achieve anything you put your mind to, so making the varsity team as a freshman was a really big accomplishment for me.

Doing my double exposure, I felt much more confident using the tools that were at my disposal. When I was doing my selfie, I found photoshop to be confusing and overwhelming. Throughout the time of this course, I learned how to simplify photoshop and only use the tools that I needed to. It was fun to go around the image and try to make the layers intertwine as much as possible. This image would have been much easier to use if my hair wasn't so curly because it was difficult to crop around my hair without editing it all out.
